¡Bautismos Por Fin!

Well this week was definitely bomb. We had 2 baptisms for Rita and her Son Carlos which was amazing!!!!! Rita has 9 kids in total and her last one Carlos is a little bit special. I think he is Autistic but he is hilarious and like one of my great friends here. He always cracks jokes with us and loves to listen to music with us. He is 26 but has the mental capacity of 9 years old roughly.

Designed a long sleeve shirt for our district down here in Bermejo and I´m kinda pumped because I think its gonna turn out really good.

Took the jungle picture contacting in my area.

This week was really good though. Flew by. Time is going by really fast I can´t believe we are already half way down with this transfer. Love my comp a ton and he is teaching me a lot about how to be a better teacher and is teaching me how to do a rubix cube.
So Elder Ward busts out an unannounced
gym mirror selfie and I don’t have a chance
to drop my manly 2 pounder I'm cranking out
arm curls with and pose with a 50 pounder ðŸ˜‚

Spiritual thought:
Moroni 8:16
16 Wo be unto them that shall pervert the ways of the Lord after this manner, for they shall perish except they repent. Behold, I speak with boldness, having aauthority from God; and I fear not what man can do; for bperfect clove dcasteth out all fear.

I fear not what man can do; for perfect love casteth out all fear.

Fear God, put your trust in Him and everything will be okay.

Finally Getting a Taste of Bolivian 'Fall' Weather

Well I forgot my camera in the house today so all these pictures are from other elders.

Finally we got some cold weather this week. Down here in Bermejo we have just had some good old daily sweat fests but now we got the nice weather. Lots of clouds and most of all we have 2 baptisms this saturday! An amazing lady named Rita and her son Carlos. We have only been teaching them for about  2 weeks but they are really anxious and willing to be baptized. Rita doesn´t know how to read and her son Carlos is 26 and is autistic but their desire to follow the savior´s example is incredible. I am truly inspired by them and their feelings toward the savior and following his example he set for us.

Played some pool last Monday with the elders and then also took some pics in the house. Today we ended up playing an 11v11 soccer game with members and the other missionaries. The only pic I have of that I look partially obese but I promise its just a bad angle.

Loving the mission more and more as I take on the trials and blessings of being a missionary. Gonna finish reading the Book of Mormon again tomorrow(31 pages left) so I'm also stoked about that.

3 Nep 27:21
Verily, verily, I say unto you, this is my gospel; and ye know the things that ye must do in my church; for the works which ye have seen me do that shall ye also do; for that which ye have seen me do even that shall ye do;

I LOVE my new comp!

Kind of short on info this week.

So this new week was amazing. Got in a whole new group of elders down here in Bermejo; including Elder Maravilla, Elder Ward, and Elder Zimmerman, among a few others.

My new comp, Elder Maravilla, is awesome! We both had the same trainer (Elder Estarita) in the mission so it's cool to be companions now. He is super focused and has a really great way of teaching and showing true Christlike love for others.  His father is also an Area Seventy for the church!

Elder Ward is our new District and Zone leader both.....we are only 8 elders total in the area so they are combined.

We have a really good new family that we are teaching who should be baptized the 21st of April so pictures will be coming soon.

Fotos:  I am huge compared to this tiny house and thats basically it for this week.

More info in my daily journals.....

Transfers again....New Beginnings For All of Us Here

So we threw a mini birthday party for myself last Monday night and yes I bought myself a cake.  Pretty lame I know but the cake was bomb.

We had our last district meeting and took some pics to remeber these goons hahahahahaha. They are a great group of guys gonna miss them. Transfers this week hit and 4 of our district got shipped off to Santa Cruz and the other 4 are staying here.

My new companion is Elder Maravilla from Nicaragua and he has been out a little longer than me.  Our casa also gained Elder Ward and he will be Elder Davila's companion and also our District and Zone Leader (Busy guy!).  These are great Elders and I look forward to working with them and increasing our efforts here in Bermejo.  I'll have pics of all the new elders next week.

Had that bomb cake for my birthday and got some to the face thanks to Elder Reyes (Sword).

MOST IMPORTANTLY......GENERAL CONFERENCE
This week with conference truly was a special week for me. Learned so many great things from our General Authoroties and leaders of the church. I know that this church is the true church.
I challenge everyone to read the scriptures every day and PONDER THE THINGS OUT IN YOUR MIND THAT THE LORD WOULD HAVE YOU UNDERSTAND. The same goes for conference talks and church sponsored anything. Look for what He is trying to tell you.

I love everyone and hope you have an amazing week.

Amo a mi familia y amigos,
